AnkhSVN 2.0 Nightly Builds Available
As you read this, AnkhSVN is under active development for a 2.0 release scheduled shortly after Subversion 1.5. Things have changed a lot over the last few months in the AnkhSVN world and time has come to begin showing you how AnkhSVN 2.0 will be a better Subversion client for Visual Studio.NET. While we aren't ready for a beta yet (for example, merge support isn't completely finished yet), we are ready to give you access to AnkhSVN 2.0 previews via our daily builds.
The AnkhSVN 2.0 builds are very stable already and provide a great integration between Subversion and Visual Studio 2005/2008. To get an idea of what you can expect from AnkhSVN 2.0, view our roadmap. The roadmap shows the major new features in AnkhSVN 2.0 but other things are included as well: improved usability, general bug fixes, performance enhancements and more.

Quick question, what version of Subversion are the daily builds linked against (i.e. is it 1.5 -- meaning I can use it along with the 1.5-RC of TortoiseSVN?) I assume from your talk of "merge support" that it's 1.5?

That is correct. AnkhSVN 2.0 is a Subversion 1.5 client and should work fine along side any other Subversion 1.5 client. Just know that if you access a Subversion 1.4 working copy with AnkhSVN, the working copy will be updated to 1.5 format.

Cool, I just tried installing it, and I get a dependency failure when it tries to load "Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.9.0, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a"
I don't have Visual Studio 2008 installed (which is where I assume that dependency comes from)
Is it possible that you need to build two different versions of Anhk, one for VS2005 and a different one for VS2008? I notice that the dependencies on the DLLs seem to be a bit of a mix-n-match between version 8.0 and version 9.0 (for example, Anhk.VS.dll depends on both "Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.9.0" and "Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.8.0")

I was installing from AnkhSvn-Daily-2.0.4184.41.msi by the way.

We identified the error that occured while loading in Visual Studio 2005. This issue is now fixed in the latest daily build.
